FLAMENCO GUITAR LESSONS

Welcome to my Webpage.

I have been a professional flamenco guitarist for over fifty years, both in Spain and the United States (see resume). Besides performing, I have been teaching almost as long and enjoy it as much as being on stage. I teach all levels and still enjoy working with beginners and introducing them to this incredible art form. I am currently accepting new students, both in person and on Zoom or FaceTime.

I teach with or without tab and allow you to record the lesson.

Lessons will focus upon scales, chords, keys, forms, rhythm, rasquedos, arpeggios, picado, pulgar, falsettas, improvisation, and accompaniment for the song and dance. We will work on what you need.

A nylon string guitar is preferred (rasquedos and steel strings is not a good mix).

All lessons are one hour unless pre-arranged.

All classes are $85US/hr. Payment (in person) with cash, check, or PayPal;
